W. Edward Montz, Jr., Ph.D., is President of Indoor Air Solutions, Inc. and has been actively involved in the IAQ field for over 15 years. He began as Program Administrator for the Indoor Air Quality program in the State Health Department in Delaware. He later served as Vice President of the IAQ Division of ENV Services, King of Prussia, PA, a national environmental firm. In 1994, Dr. Montz founded Indoor Air Solutions, Inc., an IAQ testing, consulting, and microbiological remediation firm. Dr. Montz is a Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional (CIAQP) by the Association of Energy Engineers and is a member of numerous professional societies and associations. He also serves as an expert witness in both Plaintiff and Defense cases. Dr. Montz is a Certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) and is a Certified Water Damage Restoration Technician by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

David E. Nugent served as Health Physics Technician at the Limerick Generation Station from 1983 to 1991. His responsibilities included performance of radiation, contamination and airborne surveys to support normal operations and refueling outage activities. He then served as Health Physics Supervisor from 1991 to 1995. He was responsible for ensuring that plant procedures, technical specifications and regulatory guidelines were adhered to during station operation and refueling outages.

Mr. Nugent was hired by Indoor Air Solutions, Inc. in 1995 and has held a series of successively responsible positions culminating as Business/Operations Manager for the firm. He is responsible for business development, providing technical oversight of indoor air quality investigations, ensuring that high standards are maintained, through writing and monitoring of procedures and project specifications, and integration of emergent technologies.

Brandon E. Whitman Brandon E. Whitman began his career as an Environmental Scientist with Seagull Environmental Technologies, Inc. working on the Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) contract in Region 3. Mr. Whitman was Project Manager for several sites and equipment manager. Mr. Whitman obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in May of 2005.

Mr. Whitman is currently an Industrial Hygienist with Indoor Air Solutions, Inc. as of November 2007. He is responsible for performing indoor air quality/industrial hygiene testing assignments including gathering and calibrating all equipment, collecting samples, preserving samples properly, shipping samples to the laboratory, obtaining and interpreting results, and preparing a final report including recommendations for appropriate corrective actions.

Joseph A. Miller, CIH is currently the Assistant Director of the Occupational Health and Safety Department at the University of Delaware and consults for several companies on many issues with health and safety concerns. He has over 15 years of experience in the Occupational/Environmental Health and Safety field as well as five years of experience in Public Health Laboratories working with various infectious agents. Mr. Miller is certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene in Comprehensive Practice. He holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Delaware.

Mr. Miller's work experiences have been broad in the Occupational/Environmental Health and safety field. He has developed programs in asbestos management, hazardous waste, respiratory protection, medical surveillance, confined spaces, chemical hygiene, exposure control programs under bloodborne pathogens and hazard communications to name a few specific areas. He has conducted training programs in all the above mentioned examples. Mr. Miller conducts building plan review to determine compliance with certain building codes as well as specific issues such as the adequacy of ventilation systems.

Mr. Miller is professionally active in the American Industrial Hygiene Association at the national and local levels.

Steven P. Paxton joined Indoor Air Solutions, Inc. (IAS) in the beginning of 1999. Steve has been involved with all aspects of the IAS business. He has provided both labor and supervisory skills to both microbial abatement and HVAC system cleaning, as well as industrial hygiene responsibilities. Most of his time with IAS has been spent in business development for the company as a Technical Sales Manager. Steve has a BS degree in Education from the University of Delaware and taught chemistry and biology in two secondary schools in northern Delaware before entering the environmental industry over 20 years ago.

Robert K. Goins (Bobby), Project Manager, has been employed by Indoor Air Solutions, Inc. (IAS) since 2000. Before joining IAS, Mr. Goins owned and operated, Goins Professional Services, a home maintenance and repair business, located in Northern Virginia. Bobby has over 30 years experience in plumbing and heating, electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair, roofing installation and repair, and concrete and masonry installation and repair. He is responsible for gathering all necessary and appropriate data through on-site visits and meetings for the purpose of preparing estimates and setting the scope of work for mold remediation, duct cleaning, and water restoration projects. Bobby is also responsible for customer relations and communications with the project supervisors and all other parties involved in a project. His ultimate goal is to insure the work performed is of the highest quality and our client’s objectives and expectations are satisfied on every project. Mr. Goins is certified as an Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). He is also certified as a Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

Mr. Goins manages and oversees supplies and equipment, directly or through delegation, to ensure that projects are adequately and properly equipped. He ensures adequacy and quality of work performed and is responsible for on-site safety and protection of workers, including emergency procedures. Mr. Goins also makes certain that accurate and complete field notes, photographs, and work logs are kept, and is responsible for Final Closeout project reports. In all activities and communication, Mr. Goins maintains a positive image and is dedicated to do what ever it takes to solve the problems our clients may be facing.

Walter A. Jablonski, Project Supervisor , Project Supervisor, has been employed by Indoor Air Solutions, Inc. (IAS) since 2008. Before joining IAS, Mr. Jablonski was Vice President and crew chief at Thoroclean, a carpet/upholstery cleaning and maintenance business, located in South Eastern Pennsylvania. Walt has over 15 years experience in water restoration, and carpet/upholstery cleaning. He is certified as a carpet cleaning technician (CCT) and an upholstery and fabric cleaning technician (UFT), by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). He is also certified as an Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA).

Mr. Jablonski’s responsibilities include direct supervision and oversight at the project location, assisting the project manager in the preparation of materials, equipment and personnel, and insuring that all other aspects of the project are completed in a manor that puts the highest priority on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Mr. Jablonski maintains a positive image and is dedicated to putting the needs of our clients first and foremost on every project.
