Mold Remediation

Frequently,
our testing reveals the need for corrective measures including various forms
of abatement of contaminated wallboard, carpets, books, ceiling tiles and clothing.
These cleanups can occur from chemical or biological contamination. The client
often desires that a third-party conduct the cleanups recommended in our reports.
If the cleanup recommended involves cleaning the air handling system or removing
contaminants, we can provide a number of services relating to project performance
including: developing and writing an appropriate Scope of Work, project oversight
on a daily basis and/or actually performing cleaning.
Our abatement services
involve techniques frequently used to contain contaminants generated by asbestos
abatement. We isolate areas, place them under negative pressure, HEPA-filter
all exhaust air to provide high levels of protection to our employees and
we utilize redundant real-time monitors to indicate violation of containment.
These techniques ensure the success of any project that requires a high degree
of containment in a high-risk building environment. Our primary clients are
hospitals, class A offices, research facilities, pharmaceutical companies
and members of the semi-conductor industry.
Our approach to abatement work
is different from that of other firms in that we combine the science of contamination
control with the physical abatement work. We use state-of-the-art fiberoptic
borescopes, particle-counters, vacuum tests (for residual particulate), and
microbiological samples to confirm the effectiveness of our work.
